The ESTRO App comes to bring information about the Cananéia region, the gray dolphin observation tourism and the possibility of user participation through citizen science.Burst is the name given to the hunting behavior of the gray dolphin, one of the most commonly seen dolphin species on the Brazilian coast and very common to be observed on boat trips in the Cananéia region on the south coast of the State of São Paulo.
Therefore, the name of the application alludes to this behavior that is so important for this animal.The application was created with the aim of sharing information about observation tourism for this animal in the region and facilitating observation activities by indicating the best places to observe porpoises, which were identified through the monitoring efforts of the species carried out by the Project team.
